We look forward to nurturing your creativity and sense of adventure. We are music lovers and enthusiastic amateur players. Our musical paths have led us to be heavily involved in the local folk music scene and we love to share our love of music with guests and friends. MusicHaven was established in Belmont Lower Hutt in 2007. We chose to move to the sunny Kapiti Coast and we now offer bed & breakfast accommodation in our new home. Accommodation: Our comfortable 1950s home is just south of Paraparaumu in Wellington’s sunny Kapiti Coast district. We are close to transport and amenities just a short walk to the Coastlands shops and Paraparaumu. We are 2km from the beach and Raumati shopping centre. Around our dining and lounge area is decking making the outside as enjoyable and easy to access as the indoor living spaces. Our two cats love company. We offer bed and breakfast accommodation in a good sized queen bedroom with a guest-share bathroom.

Food and Drink: The Wellington region is vibrant with a wonderful variety of options. All budgets can be accommodated at great restaurants and some of the best cafes in New Zealand, if not the world. Cuisines as diverse as Vietnamese and classical French can all be found - from a quick snack to fine dining. The Wairarapa region (less than two hours drive) has a reputation for great food and has a very successful fine wine industry. Guests are free to browse and choose from our extensive selection of recorded music, an eclectic collection of written music, concert and documentary DVDs for your enjoyment and inspiration. We can also make instruments available: guitars, fiddle, accordion, whistle, bodhran.
